Change is the Only Constant!

Wow, it has been forever since we posted here. I almost forgot we had a blog! So much for chronicling our life in Oklahoma...

Ok. I guess I'll start by saying - we moved. Yes, we are Okies no longer. We are now proud Utes. Wait, that's not right, almost changed our ethnicity there. We are now proud Utahns... or is it Utahans... or Utaans. This whole post is getting me confused. No wonder I don't ever post anything! Back to moving. We now live in the wonderful Utah valley right next to UVU. To be honest, I never thought I'd live here after graduating from BYU. I often feel old and out of place. I know, 28 isn't old, or is it? I go to Zumba and most of the girls look like they are 15. To be fair, there are others in my non-college-student demographic that like to dance around to Latin beats. In fact, there are several middle aged women and even two old men - now I bet they feel out of place! The grocery store next to me is always busy with college students. Who knew that grocery shopping could provide such a boost to ones social life (not mine). There are usually crowds of 20 somethings that congregate in the aisles after 12AM. Maybe I'm not old, but I do sometimes feel like we've regressed. Overall I have realized that there are a lot of things I missed about Utah (the mountains) and that it's not such a bad place to be. As a bonus we now live near Andrew's family (best in-laws EVER) and to our good friends Lant and Kendra.
After moving and a lot of awful months of studying, Andrew passed the Bar exam. Yippee! He now works at a local law firm that consist of him and another attorney (who owns the place and mainly focuses on marketing). Oh, there is also their staff and a branch in California that has a few more attorneys and staff, but overall a small operation.

I've struggled a lot with whether or not I should keep up a blog. Who cares what an unemployed wife, mother of zero, has to say anyway? If you're reading this, maybe you do care! Andrew is busy and might not have time to post, so you are stuck with me...Mwahaha! Okay, maybe I shouldn't have done the evil laugh. Ignore that. Please come back and read what I have to say, no extreme evilness, promise!

I was super excited to see this blog pop up on my reader! I miss having you guys so close, although I'm sure you'll agree with me that we don't miss Oklahoma! :) I'm crossing my fingers that I'll get to see you guys on Saturday. Good luck with the blogging! I'll be here reading it!
